A group has been created on Facebook to assist people cope with the rising cost of living.
It comes as the price of gas increased 43.9 percent today.
Frank Schuengel created Isle of Man Cost of Living Advice & Help group yesterday and already close to 50 people have joined.
He told Manx Radio the aim of it is so people can get tips and advice on what they can do to ease their financial burden:
