Reports of rising pressure on third sector over festive period

The cost of living is expected to become a key issue at this year's House of Keys General Election.

A survey of Manx Radio listeners has highlighted the state of the economy as a topic they care about the most.

Meanwhile, some charities on the Island have told Manx Radio that they're seeing increased demand for assistance.

David Gawne is the chairman of the Isle of Man Foodbank and Live at Home.

He says the Foodbank will be making some changes in light of the additional pressure:

The 2026 House of Keys General Election will take place on 24 September.
