New prices set to go before Tynwald this month
The cost of a pint of milk on the Isle of Man is set to rise by 5p in July.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has published an updated Milk Prices Order, proposing increasing the price from 85p to 90p.
Metric measures over 250ml to less than 1,000ml are also set to increase by 5p per 500ml, while containers between 1,000ml to 1,750ml will go up by 5p per litre.
Cartons and bottles up to 250ml and those of 1,750ml and over will be unchanged.
The order will go before Tynwald next month, with the changes coming in from 1 July.
