Visiting fishermen face stricter measures at ports
Stricter border controls are in place at the Island's ports today (1 Nov) for the start of the King Scallop fishing season.
Visiting fishermen will only be allowed to land catch in Douglas and Peel, while Port St Mary and Ramsey will be limited to local crews.
Peel breakwater will also be shut off to the public with a 24 security detail in place to police the new rules.
