Constabulary 'delighted' at calibre of new constable applicants

Recruitment drive sees 30 candidates progress

Police say they're impressed with the quality of candidates looking to take up positions within the constabulary.

It follows a recruitment drive for new police and special constables.

Thirty people have now progressed to the next stage of the process.

Inspector Gavin Callow says they're 'delighted' at the number of prospective candidates given the fact Island has, what it says is, full employment.
