More about just advertising says MHK
The Isle of Man needs to raise its game if it's to attract more tourists.
That was the message being put out at Manx Hospitality Day, a conference in Douglas today (Thurs 6) which has been organised by the Chamber of Commerce.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister, the DED's member with responsibility for the tourism sector, gave a speech at the conference.
He says it's about more than just how the Isle of Man is advertised:
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
