Concerns raised about amount of produce being 'skipped' at meat plant

Comes after apology over 'stock availability issues'

Questions are being asked about why meat is being thrown away at the meat plant.

It follows an apology from Isle of Man Meats regarding ‘stock availability issues’ over Easter.

This man, who works in the industry, contacted Manx Radio’s Mannin Line today:

A number of Island butchers have complained about the lack of produce available with one saying they can’t offer any beef products at the moment and another saying they had no meat to offer as dog food.
