Advocate critical of Constabulary actions
An Island advocate has criticised the way the Police use social media, saying it could have a negative impact on justice.
Dawn Jones was one of those giving evidence to a Tynwald Select Committee examining the Manx jury system on Friday.
She said the Isle of Man Constabulary's online presence has occasionally opened up the risk of bias in court cases - and that goes beyond the force's remit:
Person suffers 'significant injuries' in 'serious assault' near Peel
Business case for horse trams to be put before Tynwald in July
Plans to turn 'underused space' in central Douglas into wellness retreat
Employment grievance 'upheld' against board of Peel Commissioners
