Work permit reform a priority
Growing the Island's working population and addressing labour shortages through work permit reform are still top priorities.
That's the message from the new president of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce, Chris Allan.
He says many in the business community are concerned by the lack of skilled workers available to support growth.
The Chamber has been involved in initiatives to give local workers the required skills through apprenticeships.
Mr Allan says these schemes are just one part of an overall strategy to address shortages:
