Manx Labour Party writes to chief minister
The Manx Labour Party has voiced concern about what will happen to a number of 'very important national issues', following the sacking of Chris Thomas as Policy and Reform Minister.
As well as rate reform, funding of care for older persons, area plan developments and new arrangements for gas regulation, those concerns also relate to ongoing negotiations with the BBC over TV licences for those aged 75 and over.
It's an issue the MLP has been vocal about for some years, including presenting a petition to Tynwald prior to the 2016 House of Keys election.
It's been working with others including the ex-service organisations to raise awareness of the matter.
