'Proper' Tynwald debate called for
Several Tynwald members have raised concerns about the length of time it's taking government to tackle the future funding of nursing and residential care.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas made a statement on the topic during the sitting this week, stating that a transformation project would make recommendations and implement a new financial model by September 2024.
"This won't wash," said Douglas East MHK Chris Robertshaw, echoing the words of several colleagues querying the timescales suggested.
