First practice session scheduled for 5.20 start
The first practice session in this year's Festival of Motorcycling blasts off from the grandstand this evening (Sat)
Roads close at 5 ahead of a scheduled 5.20 start time.
Competitors will use the time out on the track to familiarise themselves with both their bikes and the course.
People from all over the world have travelled across to take part in the event.
Rob Whittall is from New Zealand.
