Top 20 entries to be published later this year
Twenty aspiring young authors from the Isle of Man have a chance to see their stories published.
The Manx Bedtimes Stories Creative Writing Competition is run by local author Robert Cowley, and is open to children aged six to 13.
Stories need to be around 500 words, can include four illustrations and should cover themes such as kindness, friendship and saving the planet.
The competition is free to enter, with prizes for the best stories, as well as the opportunity to be included in the "The Big Book of Magical Manx Tales", which will be released around Christmas time.
With recent advances in technology, Robert warns AI submissions won't be accepted:
Entries can be submitted between 1 September and 24 October by emailing manxman57@live.com.
