Charity initiative promotes kindness in the community
Inspiring kindness in the community is the driving force behind a local organisation that's celebrating its first birthday.
Compassionate IOM provides support for people of all ages and hopes to inspire more locals to spread small acts of kindness on a regular basis.
The charity is mother to a number of projects including the 'Back Home Box' - a care package for those leaving hospital who live alone.
Though some of the initiatives are specifically for people in a medical setting, project co-coordinator Jeanette says Compassionate IOM is for anyone who needs it:
