A company based in Douglas has paid tribute to its director, who succumbed to his injuries in hospital this week.
Stephen Hands had to be airlifted to a hospital in the UK following a road traffic collision between a motorcycle and a white transit connect van at the junction of Glenn Mooar Road and Poortown Road in Peel on Tuesday (6 May).

In a post on social media, Swift Motors describes the 61-year-old as 'a great friend and boss'.
It adds Mr Hands founded the company over 30 years ago with his business partner Mark Caley and 'he'll be very sadly missed by his staff, family and friends'.
