Survey finds 4 in 10 employers were open to taking applicants over age of 50
Changing the attitude of employers towards employing people over the age of 50 requires a significant cultural change within many companies.
That's the view of the Chartered Management Institute which has conducted a study which showed that only four in 10 employers in the United Kingdom were open to taking applicants – aged between 50 and 64.
That’s despite skill shortages in many areas.
