Schools being asked to publish anti-bullying guidelines
Dialogue between teachers, children and parents is the best way to combat bullying in schools.
That's according to DEC member Ann Corlett.
In the House of Keys today, Garff MHK Daphne Caine sought answers on how the department dealt with cases of bullying.
Mrs Corlett confirmed all schools are being asked to publish their anti-bullying guidelines.
She says communication is key to tackling the problem
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
