DoI clarifies inaccurate statements
Onchan Commissioners say they accept a public apology from a government department and the row over the closure of squash courts in Onchan Park is now closed.
The Department of Infrastructure and Public Services Commission have clarified inaccurate statements and says there was no intended criticism of the board or the local authority.
It all centred on a complaint made by Onchan resident Rae Hamilton over an alleged conflict of interest relating to the closure of the club he used to run with his wife.
They gave up the lease on the facility in 2009.
