A group of six friends who travel to the Isle of Man for the Manx Grand Prix says they've been setting up camp on Douglas Promenade for the last 26 years.
It's after a resident from Queen's Apartment wrote to the police, Douglas City Council and Department of Infrastructure about their van and bikes parked on the promenade.

He says while the group have been taking on the 'motorcycle mecca' for years they often stay in hotels nearby and use the prom as a central spot to relax.
