Ballagawne recognised by UK Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group
For the first time a farm in Colby is going up against four others from the United Kingdom in the hope of winning a prestigious accolade.
The UK Silver Lapwing Award recognises the best in farm management and conservation.
On Tuesday 14 May, Ballagawne Farm in Colby will be visited by competition judges from the UK's Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group.
Paul Fletcher, the chairman of the Island's branch of that association describes it as a huge accomplishment for the farming industry here:
