Police highlight dangers of fire
Police in the south say they have identified the perpetrators of a serious fire on a farm last week.
A derelict barn at Ballacriy Park in Colby was left damaged by the blaze on Thursday (12 October) - it took crews a number of hours to put out.
Police say a number of young persons have been spoke to about the matter, and are now working with the youth justice team to find a 'suitable resolution'.
Officers have taken to social media to thank the public for their co-operation, but have issued a reminder of the dangers caused by fire.
They say in this instance damage was sustained, but fires can cause potentially devastating consequences such as death, or life-changing injuries.
