Images of pollution appear online
The coastguard was called out to what appeared to be an oil spill in Peel last night.
A clean-up operation has continued into today, though it's said to be a 'minor incident'.
Steven Elkins was in the area yesterday evening and posted images of the water online.
He's described to Manx Radio what he saw:
It's not clear what the pollution was or what caused it.
Manx Radio has contacted government for comment.
