Group of teenagers almost cut off by incoming tide
Peel Coastguard was called out on Sunday night (28 May) after someone sustained an injury at the Old Baths beach.
They were located on the headlands following the call for assistance just before 10pm.
Once the individual was transferred to the care of paramedics the coastguard urged a large group of teenagers gathered on the beach to leave as the tide was coming in.
The group had to leave via a narrow, slippy path which was the only exit not cut off by the tide - the coastguard returned to the station by 11pm.
