Call to identify anyone in the area of Mooragh Promenade
False Alarm: *UPDATE 8:40AM:*
The Isle of Man Constabulary has issued an update this morning, saying: "We’d like to report that fortunately the incident reported in Ramsey last night has been confirmed as a genuine false alarm.
"No further action is required and thank you to the public for their assistance."
The Isle of Man Coastguard is attempting to identify anyone who was out in the sea off Mooragh Promenade in Ramsey yesterday evening. (24 August)
An appeal has been shared by the Isle of Man Constabulary.
Anyone who went swimming in the area on Sunday evening is asked to notify the Marine Operations Centre control room on 686627.
