Ankle injury leads to call out for coastguard and ambulance
A visitor to Peel Castle had to be stretchered to an ambulance after injuring their ankle while at the heritage site.
Peel Coastguard and paramedics were called to the scene on Tuesday lunchtime.
Once paramedics made the casualty comfortable, coastguard officers transferred them to a basket stretcher to move them to the waiting ambulance.
The injured person was then taken to Noble's Hospital for further treatment.
