
Police are stressing the importance of working together with Douglas Borough Council.
It's after officers were involved in helping the council evict a tenant who had been warned about persistent antisocial behaviour, which had been causing distress and disturbance to his neighbours.
Inspector Mark Britton, head of the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, says eviction is used as a last resort, and his team remains committed to clamping down on antisocial behaviour:
