Education Minister says schools will remain open
Closing the Island's schools would have a big impact on the local economy.
That's the view of Education Minister Dr Alex Alllinson, who has confirmed Manx schools are to remain open.
Yesterday, it was announced all UK schools will close this Friday in a bid to limit the spread of coronavirus.
However, Dr Allinson insists it's not necessary to do the same here:
