Issues affecting young people addressed
An event at the Isle of Man College this weekend will address issues which affect young people on the Island.
"Closer Links" takes place on Saturday (14th) and is open to youth workers and those from voluntary sector organisations working with young people.
There will be workshops on a variety of issues including bereavement, eating disorders, sexual exploitation and autistic spectrum disorders.
Department of Education Youth Officer Grainne Burns says a lot of issues affecting young people happen earlier in life than they used to.
The event takes place at the Annie Gill building at the Isle of Man College - places are free and can be booked by contacting Jane Duke at the youth service on j.duke@doe.sch.im or calling 686 057
