Local hope as conference nears close
As the UN climate conference enters its final two days, a newly formed Island group is hopeful sustainable progress has been made.
Nearly 200 countries are negotiating in Paris, trying to reach a deal to reduce global carbon emissions and limit global warming.
Cat Turner from the Eco Vannin project, which was recently launched with the aim to make the Island completely self-sufficient in 60 years, believes a new global approach to climate change is a distinct possibility.
