Local beekeeper says decline is noticeable
A local beekeeper says the reported drastic decline of pollinators is a result of more extreme weather.
Harry Owens, who has been an apiarist for over fifty years, believes climate change is taking its toll on local bee populations.
A combination of harsher conditions along with sprays, according to wildlife experts, are destroying insect habitats, with some calling it an ecological disaster.
Mr Owens says the decline of such species is noticeable:

'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
