Several routes remain closed due to fallen trees and debris
A number of roads on the Island remain closed this morning following Storm Bram.
Winds in excess of 70mph were recorded on the Island yesterday, resulting in trees being brought down and debris affecting coastal routes.
Crosby Top Road, Laxey promenade, Jacks Lane in Maughold and Mullinaragher in St Marks are all due to remain closed until lunchtime while the clear up continues, while Shore Road in Rushen will stay shut until 4pm.
The Tholt-y-Will Road is also closed due to fallen trees, but the Mountain Road reopened last night after wind speeds dropped.
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping will be in force between 2pm and 5pm today, with large waves expected again around the time of high tide.
