Constabulary 'aware and trying to stop' problem in Douglas
Police in Douglas say they are aware and proactively seeking to stop instances of anti-social behaviour and driving in and around the public car parks in the city.
Officers are working with other partner agencies and those responsible for the sites.
While they say the easy thing would be to shut the car parks at a certain time, this would cause inconvenience to most people and 'why should they close just for the behaviour of a minority?'
There will be patrols of marked and unmarked vehicles in the areas.
The Constabulary says people found or reported 'can expect a visit'.
