Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says Bill Henderson went back on a guarantee he'd vote in favour of the tuition fee proposals in Tynwald, so he had to be sacked from the department.
It was revealed earlier this afternoon the North Douglas MHK had been removed from his position within Treasury.
The vote never took place in the end, as the proposal was withdrawn.
