Prospect concerned members will be left worse off
A union head says increasing livings costs mean a planned 2.3 percent pay rise for public sector workers is not enough.
Negotiations officer for Prospect, Angela Moffat, says members of her union are happy with the increase in pay - but will still be left worse off in real terms.
The wage increase for civil servants - which is awaiting the approval of ministers - comes as a result of binding arbitration.
Ms Moffat says the driving down of wages is an Island-wide problem:
