MHK says she can now attack policy work with 'full thrust'
The MHK who has stepped down as chair of the Planning Committee says her decision will enable her to attack economic policy scrutiny with 'full thrust'.
Claire Christian has been replaced by David Ashford who resigned as treasury minister earlier this year.
She’s also stepped down from her role as political member with responsibility for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
The Douglas South MHK says her workload, and position on a number of committees, had a part to play in her decision:
Ramsey Swing Bridge 'a key line' for businessesÂ
Protecting farmers from impact of climate change 'a no brainer'
Dogs to be allowed on Douglas Beach year-round as part of council trial
Manx language choir to perform at Royal Irish Academy
