The leader of Douglas Borough Council says it's about to get tough with those who infringe its bylaws.
David Christian says the time for education and warnings is over when it comes to the likes of littering, dog fouling and antisocial behaviour.
Fewer than twenty fixed penalty notices were issued by the council's wardens last year, despite them dealing with well over 800 cases.
Mr Christian says certain problem areas have been chosen:
