MHK says there's a lack of support
Government's been accused of not doing enough to ensure children in care get a fair education.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford pressed both the education and health and social care ministers on what they were doing to tackle the issue.
Around a dozen children who are looked after by the state are currently thought to be regularly play truant.
Mr Ashford says it represents a failing of the system:
Plans to boost dyslexia support 'game changing'
Police hope to extend Operation Needle next year
Victim Support: 'No World Cup match result should put you at risk of domestic abuse'
Dyslexia recommendations are 'practical, proportionate and achievable'
