Driver 'verbally abused' and told to keep passengers on board
Children on a bus from Peel to Douglas yesterday were kept on board and given words of advice by the Bus Inspector due to their behaviour.
A concerned parent contacted Manx Radio to explain how their child hadn't been allowed to disembark between Crosby and the capital.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says the children were 'messing about, pressing emergency buttons and verbally abusing the driver' who was told not to stop the bus and bring them through to Douglas where they were taken off.
Once there, it says, the youngsters were spoken to.
Police say no officers attended the incident, as it was handled by the Bus Inspector and his staff, and there won't be any further action taken.
