Sector responds to UK plan to get working parents back into work
Government's new Childcare Strategy, once implemented, could 'benefit the Island for decades.'
That's the hope of one provider on the Island, in light of comparisons to the Manx plan to that announced in the UK Budget last week.
Jeremy Hunt outlined a number of measures to get people back to work, including giving working parents in England 30 hours of free childcare, for children under the age of five.
Gary Pierce, Owner of Hopes and Dreams Childcare Group, says the sector appreciates that the Manx Government has gone down a different route:
Rolling delays see Manxman sailings cancelled
Assisted dying bill receiving 'due attention it deserves' in UK
Faulty device believed to have triggered multi-agency search effort
Payroll firm reprimanded after thousands of personal records discovered in abandoned shredding bins
