Mortuary manager at Noble's Hospital Ian Hughes is up for a UK Butterfly Award in the 'Bereavement Worker' category.
Victoria Kissack set up Tabitha's Trust charity to support others after the loss of her daughter - she's shortlisted in the 'Committed Baby Loss Volunteer' category.
She's since lost another daughter Martha, and attributes all acclaim from her work in the area to her girls.
