Howard Quayle responds to unions' pleas
The chief minister says it's not his place to intervene in the ongoing dispute between the education department and three teaching unions.
Representatives from the NAHT and ASCL wrote to Howard Quayle last week, asking him to get involved and help find a resolution before industrial action is implemented.
That's due to start on Thursday next week, with a meeting two days beforehand to work out the exact nature of the action.
