
Inflation in the Island has fallen – and that’s been welcomed by the Chief Minister.
Government figures show reduced petrol, fuel and energy costs in May helped produce a fall from 3.3 to 2.4 per cent.
Excluding housing costs, the annual rate of inflation shown by the Retail Price Index also went down from 2.9 per cent in April to 1.9 per cent in May.
