Chief Minister vows discrimination won't be tolerated in government

Discrimination will not be tolerated within government.

That vow from the Chief Minister after he was challenged on the issue in the House of Keys.

Allan Bell says an Equalities Bill, due to go out for public consultation over the next few months, should reinforce government's recruitment policy.

But he insists it has to be based on merit and not connected to gender race, colour, sexuality or disability.
