The Chief Minister has praised the positive atmosphere of Tynwald since the new administration came to power earlier this year.

Howard Quayle says a lot can be achieved over the next 5 years within a co-operative and constructive political environment, rather than through point scoring

When disagreements have arisen, he says backbenchers are offering solutions, instead of just 'throwing stones' at the government.

Divisions have already emerged in debates on issues like social justice and council rates.

However, the Chief Minister says constructive criticism is always welcome.
