
Chief Minister Allan Bell has praised the emergency services and government workers for their response to last night’s flash floods.
As heavy rain fell across the Island, many roads were under inches of water as drains clogged with autumn leaves.
But thanks to efforts from fire crews, police and Department of Infrastructure workers, the problems were quickly dealt with during the evening.
