SHK asks whether senior officers could answer political queries
The chief minister says he wouldn't be in support of having chairs, or chief officers, from government-owned bodies that don't have a political member answer questions in Tynwald.
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson asked whether senior officers would be able to face questions at sittings.
The Rushen MHK suggested it would be more appropriate for members of Manx Care to answer some healthcare queries instead of the health minister.
Alfred Cannan says it would require backing from the Manx parliament but he doesn't think it's necessary:
