Alfred Cannan says small issues to be expected
Small-scale fixes following the Douglas promenade refurbishment scheme was just one of the topics raised to the Chief Minister when he appeared on Mannin Line this week.
Patched up tarmac, rusty railings and exposed pipes are some of the complaints that were highlighted as issues to be addressed going forward.
Alfred Cannan said there were 'always going to be small bits and pieces' to be finished in a scheme of this size.
But he pushed back at claims that Douglas promenade looks 'tatty' and unfinished:
