Chief minister defends political role in communications commission

Report expected in the next couple of months

 The chief minister has defended the right for the communications commission to hold a political chair, without the issue of bias.

 

Howard Quayle was answering a question in this morning's sitting of Tynwald. 

 

Garff MHK Daphne Caine probed Mr Quayle on political involvement in independent regulation of business sectors.

 

However after a back and forth in the chamber, Mr Quayle struggled to understand the supplementary questioning, whilst they await the publication of a report due in the next few months:
