Says some criticisms unfounded
The head of the Fire and Rescue Service has responded to criticisms from a firefighter who's leaving the service .
Justin McMullin said his 'dream' career had been tarnished by issues such as pensions and departmental cuts to frontline services.
But Chief Fire Officer Kevin Groom said that some of Mr. McMullin's concerns regarding overtime bans, pay freezes, and station closures were inaccurate.
He also reinforced the DHA's commitment to keep stations open.
