Our Lives: Secret Lives of Lighthouse Keepers airs Friday

The Isle of Man's Chicken Rock lighthouse features in a BBC documentary which will air this week.

The episode of the Our Lives series focuses on a team from the Northern Lighthouse Board, the authority responsible for the lighthouses in Scotland and the Isle of Man.

It follows as the Pharos supply vessel moors off the Calf of Man and a team of four technicians work to replace batteries which will keep the light operating for the next twenty years.
